Based in Amsterdam, Gio is an award-winning interdisciplinary performer, choreographer, and instructor known for her fluid, expressive movement and strong artistic presence. She began her competitive journey early, winning her first major title at 16 at the IPSF German Championship, marking the start of an international pole sports career. Since then, she has continued to gain recognition on renowned stages worldwide, including winning the Audience Award at Steel of Fire, placing first twice at Exotic Generation Switzerland (Flow Professional category), and achieving third place at Pole Stars Malta. With over eight years of teaching experience, she has worked extensively as a pole dance, aerial hoop, and flexibility instructor. She is passionate about empowering others to find their own movement language within.
